About Victoria

MY JOURNEY:  My fitness journey started once I had left school and started working full time in prep for joining the police force. The first time I attempted the fitness requirements, I ran my 2.4km in over 18 minutes and couldn’t do a single, full push up. From there, it took me 2.5 years to successfully pass my fitness test, make it through the application process and attend police college. 7 years later, I’m now working for the NZ police, passionate about CrossFit and playing competitive netball with some of my work colleagues.

TRAINING STYLE/FAVOURITE CHALLENGE: CrossFit and HIIT are my favourite. Favourite challenge so far…. Has to be “Murph”. Did it for the first time probably this year; it was a love/hate relationship, and the word ‘favourite” has been used loosely.

FAVOURITE QUOTE:  “We build too many walls and not enough bridges” By Isaac Newton.
